Finally!!

Yes! She finally figured it out! Cali is officially crawling as of yesterday. She has been sooo close for a couple months now and we have given up on her ever actually doing it. Steps along the way like rocking on her hands and knees, crawling backwards, scooting backwards on her tummy, pulling her knees up under her, and getting into sitting position from her tummy, all took over 2 months to lead to crawling. Usually they figure all that out in a week or 2. Nope, my Cali took like 2 months. She is just so content to just sit there and watch everyone else. I guess I can't complain about that. Here she comes!

Yay! My cute Cali is on her way! (10 1/2 Months)

Kickin' Little Foot

Funny video of Cali cracking up while kicking the ball and Andrew playing with her

Booties!! Jennifer gave these booties to Cali when she was born, but her feet are so small she finally fits in them at 10 months!
Chubba Chubba!

Kick Kick!!

Later in the day she made her way to the window and got up on her knees!

So Cute!

Walking Butterfly

This week Cali got her first tooth! She has been having a tough week, but it finally made it's way through the skin, thank goodness! She learned how to say Keys, Nana for banana, Mmm when she eats something yummy, and Weee when she goes for a ride on the scooter! Now her words are Dada, Mama, Hi, Bye, Bee, Keys, Nana, Mmm, Weee (If you can count all those).
We always walk Cali around the house, but a few days ago, she started walking us
When we hold her hands, she will pull herself up and start walking away, pulling us along for the ride. Here she is looking down at her little pink bears on her feet.
Trying to steal the camera
Getting a little crazy
Rolling all over the place, but still not crawling

Here is a video of her new trick, we call it "The Butterfly"

Uh Oh!

UH OH! Cali found out how to pull up and pull everything out!
What are you doing baby girl!?!
Look at you! Pulling yourself up onto things! .......and then pulling them out.......
How fun! You Stinker!
Look at this one, Mom! Don't I look cute?!
Or this one?!

This one looks like Little Miss Muffett!

Or I can look like an elf!

Mmmm. Yum!

Later that day.......... My Crazy girl! She was waving the Wire Whisk and Yelling at the top of her lungs! Kinda distracting when I'm trying to make dinner.

That same evening.....we went to the driving range with Em and Bryce. Em, Paul, Bryce, Cali

Oodles of fun!

6 Years!

On Sunday, August 10, we celebrated our 6 year anniversary! Then, our computer conveniently got a virus and couldn't post anything until now!
On Saturday, we went out to dinner at the Garden, which is where Paul took me the night he proposed. Then we walked around temple square and took a couple pictures because the flowers were sooo pretty!
That night Cali spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa for the first time and Paul and I spent the night at Little America. We spent most of Sunday sitting around in our quiet and empty apartment and taking a long ride together on the scooter, since we can't do that anymore. It was just so nice and relaxing. We just couldn't stop missing and talking about Cali, though.

Matching Silly Sleeper

On Tuesday, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house because the little girls were involved in Grandpa's presentation for Relief Society. They wore their matching dresses (thanks to Aunt Emmie). Here is a pic of Grandpa doing his lesson with me and Cali on the left and Ashley and Ayla on the right.

Cali has had some silly sleeping habbits lately. She likes to sleep with her face down sometimes. What a wierdo child!
Face Down

I caught her this way just this morning..... She has never slept on her tummy before today

Again..Face Down and Hiding?! (10 months tomorrow)
