Ba Ba Singin' Silly

Cali is starting to copy everything she hears now and it is so funny. In this video she is singing to the music on her fridge farm toy. She cracks me up!

Another walking video: She was talking to her friends on the TV before she saw me, waved, and walked over to me.

First Steps

The past few days, Cali has been walking really good while I hold onto 1 hand. Today, I set her down standing up, and she took 2 steps, and stood there for a few seconds wondering what she just did. I continued to stand her up and let go and each time she took several steps to the nearest piece of furniture. Here is a video of her, but she took several steps before the camera kicked in. MY BABY IS WALKING!!

This wasn't planned, but it turned out so cute. When I pull our bed apart to wash the sheets, I just leave it tucked in at the bottom and the blankets just hang over our footboard. Cali was just in her onesie and toddled over to the blanket and sat on it, which she normally does with blankets. Needless to say, I ran for the camera. Here's what I got:

New Words

Today, Cali said Cookie (Cu-ta) and Turkey (Gu-ty), or tried. She also says Blanket (Ba-ket), Pumpkin (Pa-Kin), Grandpa (Gu-pa) or sometimes just papa, Grandma (Gu-ma) or sometimes just calls her mama. She says Nana and Mo all day because she always wants bananas and more of everything. She also loves to say Ball (Ba) and chases them around the house all day. She is talking so much! I think she is really saying more than we recognize. She jibber jabbers nonstop. She just loves the Gu-tys on our blog I just added and keeps saying it when she sees them. It's cute. I just love my Cali girl and enjoy watching her grow and learn new things everyday. It is such a joy to be at home with her and watch her learn. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Pink, Pink, Pink

Some of you were wondering where I found Cali's cutest costume ever. It is Gymboree, but last year's fairy costume. This year's fairy costume was purple, but I needed her to be PINK!

Fairy Fun!

Cali's was a pink fairy for Halloween!

We went to Paul's work after lunch for their Halloween party. They put up tables for the kids to go trick-or-treating around. Then, I took her to my work and barely made it home in time for a nappy. Paul brought home some extra balloons after work and Cali had a blast!

When Cali woke up from her nap we visited Paul's friend Marcus and then went out to eat with our friends at the CPK like we do every year. Then we headed out to Paul's parent's house so they can see her. Here is Cali trick-or-trating to Grandma and Grandpa's house.
