Hawaii Part II

KAUI

Thursday and Friday were spent in Kaui. Thursday, we decided to leave the kiddos with Grandma and Grandpa and go on a Zipline excursion in the beautiful valleys of Kaui. Here we are all suited up and ready to go

Back on teh ship, here we are in front of our favorite restaurant, the Cadillac Diner Friday, was spent on a beach nearby the ship. Here we are on a trolly to the beach

Friday afternoon, teh ship sailed around the Island to the Napali coast where alot of movies are filmed. They were beautiful

On the outside of the kiddie pool, there were fun animal paintings and Cali just ran around it like crazy pointing out everything. She loved teh butterflies. Here she is giving them loves

OAHU

Saturday and Sunday were spent on Oahu. We got off the ship Saturday morning and headed for the Dole pineapple plantation. Then we headed up to teh north shore to check out some surfers. Here we are on the train around the plantation

We had so much fun in Hawaii! Thanks so much to Doug and Carol for taking us

Cali (19 months)

Hawaii Part I

Saturday, May 9th

The day started out on an airplane for 6 lovely hours trying to keep the kids under control. Cali surprised us with a 1 1/2 hour nap. She was so good the whole time. That evening, we boarded our ship. Here are the girls in one of our rooms

MAUI

Sunday and Monday were spent on Maui. Paul and I were just there 2 years ago and took everyone to this beach we discovered while we were there. On our way back to the ship we got stuck on a scary, narrow, windy road that was a shortcut back to the ship that ended up taking us twice as long (shown in the last pic.) Here is a pic of the whole family on the beach

Back on the ship there was a cute kiddie area with a shallow pool, hot tub, and water slide for the kids to play in

HILO

We spent Tuesday in Hilo on an excursion that took us to the Hilo zoo, Hot water springs on the coast, to see lava trees, and to the macadamia nut farms. Here is a pic of Cali and Grandma in the tour bus

Back on the ship there was this huge shower with a rubber ducky. Cali is obsessed with ducks right now so she loved it!

KONA

On Wednesday, we were in Kona. We spent most of the morning on the ship playing around and swimming. In the afternoon, the 3 boys took off to go scuba diving while the rest of us took the kids on a glass bottom boat. They absolutely loved it and they even rounded up some dolphins for the kids to see

We went shootin' with Uncle Taylor and Uncle Brent's family. Here is Cali and I ready for some action
