My BIG Girl

Well, it's been 3 weeks now that Cali has been potty trained during the days, but it will be a while before she is trained at night. We are sooo proud of her!

That same week, we took down her crib/toddler bed and Cali moved into her new twin daybed!
Ta Da!

She loves that she is a big girl now and we are so excited for the arrival of our baby boy due in June!!

Our little Valentine!

Cali was VERY excited about Valentine's Day this year and made sure everyone was told "Happy Valentine's Day" several times. Cupid made a visit to Grandma's house while we were there and left Cali a cute little Valentine on the porch

Cali's Cupcake Quilt

Cali and I were in a fabric store and she just picked up this kit for a baby quilt and said "Mommy, buy it! I LOVE it!" She just loves anything with cupcakes on it :) I usually wouldn't reward this kind of bahavior, but it was so sweet and then I looked up at the sign above it and it said it comes with a free 3 part class that walks you through the entire quilt from cutting to quilting and binding. the kit was also clearance-priced, so I thought what the heck!! It was about a week before I found out what my baby was anyways, so I had to have something to keep me busy right?

You can't realy see the edges, but they are cupcakes and Cali just loves it!

So, here is Cali's quilt I made in just 1 week! The fabrics are not what I would have picked out, but Cali LOVES it! Even though I could have made it without a class, I learned SOO much it was way worth it!

For those of you who didn't know, we are expecting a new addition to our family on June 15th and it is a BOY!! We are so excited!

Disneyland!

A few weeks ago, we took a quick trip to California and to Disneyland!

Family Ski Trip

A couple days before Christmas, Paul and his brother Brew, decided they wanted to take the little kiddos skiing! Andy is 4, but I was afraid Cali was still too young at barely 2, boy was I wrong!! Here is the excited little thing getting her skiis on!

She was so funny! If we left her standing in one spot too long she would start moving those feet until she took off. She was very determined not to be stuck in one spot for very long. She did so great and has been begging to go again ever since! (26 months old)
